Another chilly start but at least the sun was out so surely it would be warmer? Ha! Not a chance. It was -2 when we left the house at 10am. Went for a wander and hopped on the tube to Tower of London to pick up where we left off yesterday. We had a great time exploring the original Royal Mint and the buildings surrounding the central White Tower. Learnt about all about the long history of the tower including all the wild animals that lived there. Also found a few sparkly things within the Crown Jewels section but couldn’t take any photos. There was one crown missing… wasn’t me! Its getting cleaned up for an important ceremony next year.

Out the Tower of London and across the Tower Bridge! The weather was closing in a bit then so we missed half the skyline but had a great time walking over the glass floor and exploring the engine rooms. Craig was very good explaining how to all worked to the boys. Afterwards we took a bus and a train to Hamleys on Regent Street to spend more money on the kids!
