So we haven’t quite figured out how to sleep in New York. The bars are raging until about 2am which means we had a not-so-early start of 10am. Not to worry, we braced ourselves for an even colder day and headed into the subway for Central Park. We sat outside for brunch and tried to warm up with hot chocolates and coffees, before heading off for a brisk walk through the park.

Suddenly it was time to head to Broadway for a show. Except we missed the stop and had to backtrack. We made it just in time for Aladdin! The set pieces were amazing with lots of magic! The genie was really funny and the entire audience was enthralled with the flying carpet. Picked up a necessary souvenir and off we went again… up, up, up to the 86th floor of the stunning Empire State Building. Amazing views and a nice dose of history.

Finished off the day with McDonalds (strictly for research purposes) and another crepe for over the road.
