After a long final day in New York and a mild panic regarding passports, we jumped on a long 7 hour flight to Zurich! The airport was immaculate and the shuttle to the next gate was accurate to the second. Our flight however was delayed by about an hour due to atrocious weather in London. Ours was one of the only flights to not be cancelled. Thank goodness we made the 2 hour journey to snowy London with the help of a bit of Swiss chocolate on the way.

New York - Zurich - London

London has been covered with at least 10cm of snow and it’s here to stay for a while. Our cabbie was great, taking us right through the city pointing out all the sights including driving us straight up the Mall to Buckingham Palace. Didn’t have time to pop in for a cuppa with Charlie boy, we had to get to Maida Vale, our home for the next four nights.
