Dear diary,
After school today we went to an amazing ice cream shop. The outside was painted so that it looked like it was melting. The door was in the shape of an ice cream cone. The inside was even cooler. There were ice cream cone chairs with cushions that looked like ice cream. The table had ice cream holders and spoons. But the best part of all was the ice cream itself. There were so many flavors. There was fudge, banana split, mars, snickers, caramel and sea salt, and lots of others. I got strawberries dipped in chocolate (an ice cream flavor, not actual strawberries dipped in chocolate). It was so good! The lucky thing is that the ice cream place is close to our house!
On our way home we were crossing a bridge and we saw one of those boat things with the crane on it that picks up the things that are at the bottom of the canal. While we watched it, it picked up about two bikes and a small boat. It was really cool to watch. I wondered if they just threw all of those things away.
We stopped at the grocery store to get some food for dinner. I was looking for a certain kind of rice but I couldn't find it. I asked a guy that worked there but he just looked at me and walked away as if I was crazy. Finally I found the rice. After that we went home.
