Dear diary,
Yesterday my mom picked me up during social studies because I had to get a shot. We biked over to something that looked like a gym. There were signs and policemen everywhere. And lots of thirteen year old girls. When we went inside there was a thing hanging on the wall with drinks and next to it it said: how much sugar is in this drink? We walked down a hallway. A lady told me to take of my jacket and go to the pink something. I couldn't understand the last thing she said. It sounded like baboon or something like that. We followed another family through a door into a big hall. On one side there were pink balloons and on the other side there were blue balloons. We followed the family to the pink balloons. There was a woman standing there. She told the family in front of us that they had to go to the blue balloons because they had a bot that needed a shot. The lady let us pass. We went over to a table with little boxes of shots in them. I had to sit down. There was a lady on either side of me and one behind me. Now I was starting to get nervous. I couldn't really remember what it felt like to get a shot because my last one was when I was nine. The lady on my right asked me which hand I wrote with. I said my right hand. The lady said that that means that they will give me a shot on my left arm. The lady on my left started to do something to my left arm and the other lady asked me questions to keep me distracted. It worked pretty well but I still felt the weird pain of the needle in my arm. It felt like someone was pinching a sore spot in my arm. After a couple of seconds it was over and I was allowed to leave. We went outside and got our bikes. My mom asked me if I wanted something from the bakery that was close by. I definitely did. After I had something to eat I had to bike back to school.
