Dear diary,
Today me and my brother Sam wanted to explore the little room under our house. It is kind of like a cellar only we already have a cellar so I am not exactly sure what it is. Maybe they had to make it so that they could fix the pipes under our house. They way to get in is a little latch that you have to pull and then a square of wood on the floor will open up. The inside is covered with aluminum foil and something that looks like garbage bags. I saw a spider. I already didn't think that I would like it down there. Me and my brother jumped down. There were some cords. I couldn't see where they were coming from. There was also a shopping bag from Albert Heijn with a picture of a hamster on it. I couldn't see the other wall so I turned on my flashlight. I looked around but I didn't see a light switch. There were more cords. Probably for electricity. We walked to the wall opposite us. Suddenly we heard a loud sound. It scared us because it had been so quiet down there. The sound was coming from close to were we had entered the cellar thing. We walked over there. There was a big pipe. Then I realized that right above that pipe was the bathroom so we were probably hearing the sound of someone flushing the toilet. We turned off our flashlights because our eyes we already used to the dark. Then we heard something that sounded like a giant stomping. I looked out of the entrance to the cellar thing and I saw my youngest brother. He was walking. But down where we were it sounded really loud. I went back down to my brother. He was looking at the shopping bag on the ground. Suddenly there was a loud boom and everything went black. Me and my brother turned on our flashlights. We saw that the square of wood had fallen over and trapped us inside. I tried to push it open but it was impossible. It felt like something was on top of it. Then we heard my youngest brother laughing, so we started yelling at him to help us get out. We heard him walk away. We kept on yelling. Finally our dad came and helped us out. We were really mad at our brother. I don't think that I am ever going back in there again. It wasn't very interesting anyways.
