Dear diary,
On Friday we were out of school early. Last year a lot of the kids in my class would go to Museumplein after school on Friday. They have started to do that again this year because the weather is getting nicer. My dad was going to go pick up my brothers from school so I asked him if he could ask any of my old friends if they were also going to Museumplein. My dad texted me and said 'Joey is going but I haven't asked Fudger yet'. After he sent that I laughed for about a minute because he wrote Fudger instead of Fajr, which is how you are supposed to spell my friends name.
Since my friend Joey was going I decided to go too.
When I got there I looked in the place that everyone usually is but they weren't there. I went over to were they skatepark and the restaurant is. I saw someone that I knew. I kept biking over to the restaurant and I saw Joey. She waved and I waved back. I parked my bike and we went to the skatepark thing. We climbed around there for a bit. We both wanted to have a sleepover so we asked our parents. They both said yes. We decided to go straight to my house. When we got there we saw the bike of my brother's friend, Joseph. We didn't want to see him so we quickly went inside, got Cora, put on her leash, and went back outside. My dad had said that Sam's friend would leave in about twenty minutes so we tried to stay outside for a long as possible. But Cora suddenly started running and her leash cut Joey's finger. It looked like it really hurt. We went back home. Joseph was still there but he was playing outside. We went upstairs and went into my room. Nate knocked on my door. I opened it a little bit. He asked 'Where is Joey?'. I wondered how he knew that she was there. I said that she was taking Cora on a walk. Just then Cora came up to us. Plan failed. I said that Joey had to go get her things from her house so that she could spend the night. Nate kind of believed that. He walked away. Joey had been hiding in a corner of my room that whole time. It was really funny.
After Joseph left, Joey and me went outside to play. In the meantime another friend of my brothers came over to play at our house.
We had been outside for a awhile when my dad came and said that someone had been calling me. I got my phone and called that person back. That person was my friend Saskia and she wanted to have a sleepover too! I said that I would have to ask. While I was telling her that, the doorbell rang. I thought that it was my mom so I went and opened it but it was a guy bringing us the pizza that we had ordered.
I asked my dad if Saskia could have a sleepover and he said yes. After that I told Joey that Saskia had wanted to have a sleepover to but that it wasn't allowed. I wanted it to be a surprise for her (she and Saskia are also good friends). That is what happened on Friday night.
