Dear diary,
Today our cleaner came to clean our house so we had to be outside. First we took our dog on a walk. There is a treehouse thing at the park. We took Cora up there. At first she was fine with it but after a while she started to get scared. We decided to get her off of the treehouse but there was this small passageway with lots of people in it so we had to wait before we could get through the passageway and to the exit. Finally we were able to go but once we got to the exit Cora was so scared she didn't want to move. I tried to pick her up but she just moved away. A woman asked me and my brothers if we needed help getting cora out of the treehouse. Before any of us could answer a man picked her up and jumped off of the ladder with her. We followed him and said thank you. Then I walked away. That whole thing was really embarrassing. Everyone was staring at us. I felt really bad about taking Cora up there because she obviously didn't like it. I didn't think she would be scared because we had taken her up there half way a couple months ago and she didn't mind.
After that we went back home and dropped of Cora. Then we took a tram over to a bookstore called Waterstones. We all got some books and then we got a couple of cadbury eggs. Those were one of the main reasons we went to that particular book store. Cadbury eggs are SO good. They are chocolate eggs with cream inside that taste really good. They are so good that it is hard to explain what they taste like. I also saw a sign for the new Harry Potter book that is coming out! I think that it is called the cursed child and it's about what happened nineteen years after the last book that was written. I love Harry potter books!
When we got home we panicked a bit because my dad couldn't find the keys to open the door. We rang the doorbell because the cleaner was inside but he didn't open the door. Our neighbor came outside and asked us if we were locked out. We said yes and he said that we could go through his house and into our yard so we could get in through the back door. Finally we were back inside but we had to stay in one room because the cleaner was still finishing with the other rooms. Once he was done we went outside to play in the backyard but when we opened the door my dog slipped out and escaped. This had happened a lot before. We went and got her. It is always really embarrassing though because she usually goes into our neighbors yard and I don't think they like that very much.
