Searching for Mike and Joanne - Again
Today Ben was taking RB to the Olympic stadium to watch West Ham play Manchester City.
First up was brunch in Carnaby St at Dishoom. Mike, Jo, Ben and Lisa joined us for an interesting take on the great British breakfast (eg. bacon and egg naan). Great start to the day.
We then split up. Lisa headed off to a lunch/afternoon tea. Ben and RB visited the British Museum for a short period and then on to the football. West Ham are struggling this year and Man City are the runaway leaders, so the 4-1 result was no surprise. 60,000 fans there but RB reckoned the footy not up to much.
Mike, Jo, Janet and I made our way through the Mall after a stop at a tea shop. Spent some time exploring the gardens before heading onto South Bank. Had a crack at buying a guide book at the London

Eye but impossible given the number of people.
Nice relaxed poke around book shops and artisitic stores on Southbank. Good chance to pick up some presents. Then a laid back lunch and home by mid afternoon for a rest.
Everybody reassembled at home for our farewells to Ben and Lisa. Has been great to see them and both are going well. Will catch Lisa later in the year but not sure when Ben back in NZ.
