Searching for Mike and Joanne - Again
It’s always good when a plan comes together.
Our trip home with Emirates went without a hitch. Left London about 10pm and arrived in Dubai early morning. A couple of hours for transit and then a long haul to Auckland. Went pretty well and our connections to Dunedin all worked.
It has been a great few weeks and that first day in Portland seems a long time ago. Alaska was outstanding and highly recommended. I ticked some bucket list items in Seattle and our time in the UK was fantastic.
Spending time with Helen, Tracy, Ben and Lisa was excellent and hopefully we won’t be apart so long again. Mike and Jo went out of their way to host us and all their efforts were most appreciated.
We have used their London location as a great reason to head to the UK. While there, they confirmed they are coming back to NZ in October, so we need to find a new reason for our next adventure.
