Our first attempt to cross the country involved travelling south, as directed by the King of Rome. This path would take us along the coast of Italy until we found the Holy Mountain of Fire.
With our camels fully laden with travelling clothes and bags of spring water, and with the king's instruction manual in hand, we were ready to begin the adventure!
We enlisted a local to guide us to the outskirts of Rome from where we could travel independently. The Romans had grown quite fond of us by then, and wrote good luck messages on Archie's hat.
