#Factor50

After looking at my bank account and realising I had spent almost double my budget, I thought to myself that I should avoid unnecessary activities...then I bought a ticket to eat breakfast with koalas!

We started with lizards, we got to hold 3 types, a bearded dragon, a blue tongue and another that I can't remember the name of! They felt like rubber and plastic- the only way to know that I hadn't been conned was their little feet scurrying around. I held all three lizards and my favourite was the bearded dragon because he looked so grumpy and cute!

Afterwards we had a buffet breakfast and I stuffed myself with French toast, pancakes and bacon! Another inch to add to my already growing frame! I figured I'd walk it off later...maybe!
Once we had eaten, we met Jimmy the snake! She put him around my neck and I felt him tense. She told me that he is just making sure he doesn't drop. If that was his strength just holding on, I wouldn't want to see what he could do if he was trying to strangle me!

Next I went to visit Hagrid the koala. He smelt awful but was very soft and cute to stroke. I decided not to pay to hold him as I had already done it in Brisbane and didn't want to be pooped on again!

Shadow was next, a black cockatoo. I really wanted to face my fears and get a photo holding him but he wasn't interested in being held and apparently he'll stab you with his beak if he doesn't want to be held- and people wonder why they frighten me?!

Also in the centre was a wombat sleeping in his enclosure, I couldn't get a photo though because he was in the dark behind glass. I later found out he had come out for a different group of visitors- again, animals being rude!
