#TheBetterSheffield

Murals Town, 02.05.2018

After the mountain climbing, we were exhausted and famished! Luckily, it wasn't too long before we made it into our lunch spot- Sheffield. Not the one in the North of England with the bad football teams and dreadful accents (James) not the one that NOBODY cares invented the first ever football rules (I know this because James tells almost all other humans this fact upon meeting them, some feign interest, others just silently walk away pretending that they had forgotten a really important thing to do back in the other place!)
Not that Sheffield, this one was however creatively named by two Sheffield'ins that founded the town.

It was a very old-fashioned town like most of the places in Tasmania; punctuated by bakeries and grocery stores but more interestingly they love a mural. Almost every street has a huge painting on the buildings, big, bright designs showing agriculture, history or politics. But, our wanderings around to find the ballroom forest had cost us valuable time.
