#ManlyJazzFestival

Manly, 30.09.2017

The morning of the Manly Jazz Festival was a busy one! I had to sort my trip out for the following week and made a very pretty calendar on Word because pretty paper work is life!

After a 10/10 BBQ with Dad and Berry, I met James to catch the bus. Steve had already told us how he hates late people- ironic as I now recall his lateness at the Meetup, so we were feeling tense about how slow the bus was to arrive in Manly.
Luckily he had beer so was therefore happy in life!

We didn't do much jazzing at the festival. We went to one band that Steve was particularly impressed with quoting "that little Asian bloke was the highlight of my night!" We went to a bar in the middle of the centre where the main stage was, it was a decent spot to people watch/judge them and their outfits!

After listening to about 15 minutes of jazz we headed back to the first bar we started in and ordered more wines! Then food! I think it's safe to say that my trip so far hugely evolves around wine and food! I'm getting chunky but funky!

As I had just done my RSA (responsible service of alcohol) I was well aware that we had become law breakers and were definitely in the intoxicated category! But, they still served us more wines and beers! Obviously weren't listening during their RSA course- the fine for serving an intoxicated person is $10,000 or imprisonment because apparently grown adults in Australia aren't capable of looking after themselves!

It is safe to say that we hit a wall! We are all a little old for the clubbing scene and James was starting to get cranky because it was well past his bedtime so we decided to call it a night and arranged a 10am meeting time for hang over breakfast! A very important step in a drunken night out!
