Our Adventures in France

Being a Sunday morning, we did our grocery shopping early because shops are only open until midday on Sundays. A lesson we learned early into our trip. The morning was also spent catching up on phone calls home, emails and washing. We had fun with the washing machine last night when it held our clothes hostage for a few hours refusing to stop spinning and not allowing the front loading door to open. We had to use the google translator to read the manual.

We spent a lovely couple of hours on a barge cruising the Canal du midi. Getting a close up of the "lock system" with a commentary from our French, English and Spanish speaking guide on board. Then drinkies at a Bar. It was a very relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon and a great way to prepare for our drive to Provence tomorrow.
