We trailblazed our way through the dense and rocky pine forest following an illusional path. With heavy tenting gear and food strapped onto our backs, we slowly made our way with only a phone compass to follow. Finally, after more than an hour we hit on a trail. Later on, we came to a clearing and found ourselves very lucky. Not only was there a perfectly mowed grass field we could put up our tent but also a sheltered BBQ place, a furnished wooden cottage and most importantly a water pump. The hikes we did the following days through the forest and unique wetland area where beautiful. I did not have any phone connect. It was four whole days with just nature and some good friends Jelmer, Guido, and Olav (ATLAS peers that were also doing an exchange semester in Sweden).

We were pretty lucky with the weather, had it been one week later we would have camped in the snow. The temperatures here quickly drop after middle September. When travelling you should consider how much north you go because it makes quite a difference in what weather you can expect.
Tip: Things to check out in Uppsala would be the natural museum called Biotopia-Biologiska Museet which has information on all the natural areas you can explore in the region and offers good maps. Visiting the Uppsala Slott (Castle) gives you a great view of the city. For rest and some good Fika the Kafferumment Storken café is fantastic.
To make your way around public transport here is a dialogue to get some bus tickets:
Hej, kan jag få en biljett för två/tre/fyra personer/ungdom till Kungshamn. Vi reser tillsammans.
Hey, can I get a ticket for two/three/four people/adolescent (ages 7-25) to Kungshamn. We are traveling together.
Det blir 180 kronor, tack
That would be 180 krons, thanks
Tack så mycket.
Thank you very much.
