What I appreciated the most about the exchange semester is that everyone I met was open to meet new people, was willing to be spontaneous and flexible as well as was curiosity and enthusiastic to explore the country. There were so many new faces and so many new names to learn. Many tried to keep their weekends free to do other things than studying. This led to motivating each other to work more efficiently. For me, this resulted in a much more balanced lifestyle. Pursuing studies but also travel and make lasting memories. People were approachable which made starting a conversation easier. I learned quite a bit about other cultures, their view of thinking and their country. From meeting up regulatory on events, parties, trip, or cooking dinner together there was always something to do. Unfortunately, all good things eventually come to an end. December and January where just full of bye-byes and fair well. Many live halfway around the world so it was unsure when and where we would meet again. But the thought is there to see each other again.
