The lights turned on and the music started playing. The boys on stage had so much fun it was a blast to watch. They, the Deniss LIoyed band, seemed truly flexible in their performance routine and did it in a way that was enjoyable for them. I like the band live much better. To our surprise when having beers in a bar later that evening we were invited by a couple of Swedish people to set with them. They were super open. We exchange perspectives about various topics and the similarities/difference between the countries we came from.
It was really nice to be back in a big city with lots of different opportunities and events. The architecture of the buildings here was stunning. I loved the different colours of the houses, some which were in orange, yellow, or red. This made the area more colourful and takes away the stereotypical grey concert buildings associated with cities. One of my favourite parts is the old town which is around a 25-minute walk from the central station. This is where Vanessa and I had our Hostel. It cost us 15 euros the night. In the area are quite a lot of restaurants, bars and retail stores. Close by is the river and from there you can see the museum islands. If you are really into museums, they even sell a ticket that would allow you to entre all which are in Stockholm.
Getting in line for the concert:
Ursäkta, är det här linjen till konserten?
Excuse me, is this the line for the concert?
Ja, har du din biljett och ID kort?
Yes, do you have your ticket?
Varsågod, kan jag ta min väska?
Here you go, can I take my bag?
Du kan lämna den i garderoben. Njutar av konserten.
You can leave it at the wardrobe. Enjoy the concert.
Tack.
Thank you
