Zanna and James 2018

We had a good flight with Singapore Airlines. This is our view, from the 10th floor. It shows the colours and styles of Singapore - old and modern mixed.

Singapore is constantly changing: as places become too old for refurbishment (or developers pay the right sums) there are new buildings. New and in-construction housing complexes abound. The architecture is interesting and housing particularly is in many shapes - height wise always high. It’s the creative touch to the shapes that we noticed - buildings joined midway with space-like shapes, a bulge

It’s the creative touch to the shapes that we noticed - buildings joined midway with space-like shapes, a bulge

in the middle (that is, not just straight up). And lots of office buildings with gardens flowing from them at many levels and vertical garden walls.

We ate well, had a quiet time, bought new running shoes. And used a lounge for the first time that was not owned by an airline - great idea and comfortable when on a midnight flight.
