It was because the racetrack was too wet. So they had to move onto the next best thing: blowing stuff up and shooting stuff. Phil has several guns, one of them a semi-automatic. So his kids went out somewhere at the back of the property to shoot, something they do all the time. Well, this time, it caused two cops to show up. They had just come from Phil's neighbor's house, which had a bullet embedded in the siding. So the cops pulled it out and came looking for answers. Let's just say Phil is not as cordial as he ought to be when he addresses officers. Long story short, everything turned out okay -- for now. I mean, they took our phone number and information. (Yikes!) I half expected them to tell us not to leave town.
The kids have just come back in from watching this morning's show -- Phil's parting gift. This is one "campground" I can't leave soon enough! But it was nice to see Stacy and the kids.
