Cross-Country 2017
So long Tucumcari. Strange little place. Maybe they should do more with some of the old abandoned buildings. Turn them into historical sites. People are coming here anyway with the little that's here. Maybe someone can open up a shoe store called "Kicks on 66" and give new meaning to the phrase, "Get your kicks on Rte. 66." lol.
Listening to hymns and watching our elevation rise as we leave last leg of the Great Plains region. Got as high as 6,758 ft., but not sure if that's the highest we've been because we lost our cell phone signal. Never ceases to amaze me how much empty land is in this country.

I-40 to Albuquerque
