Cross-Country 2017

So we're staying at the Enchanted Trails RV park, in Albuquerque, from whence we can explore some of the surrounding areas. Today we drove through some Indian reservation lands to Bandolier State Monument, where we walked the main loop trail into Frijoles Canyon to go up into the Pueblo cliff dwellings. What an awesome place. Some of the dwellings could only be reached by ascending some very steep ladders. Going up was fine but going down - oy vay! The view at the top was worth it though.

After that, we stopped at the Bradbury science museum to see the history of Los Alamos and replicas of the first atomic bombs. Great free museum with a lot to see.

Stopped for some delish Mexican food on the way back. :)

Love all the colors and designs of the Southwest. It's my fave decor.
