We decided last night and after receiving Mike and Cathy's message "you are only an hour away, the door is open", we decided to come and knock!

Situated in Roanoke, they are only about a half hour from Dallas. Renting a home while their home is being built, they are located not far from that site and Cathy's place of work. It is a great home with everything they need and room for visitors, we are feeling blessed to stay and spend some time.

Cathy was off to work bright and early. She is the Vice President -Finance, Lima, USA Inc. an Orthopedic company based out of Saint Danielle, Italy, near Venice. Mike is a "professional" golfer at Trophy Club and Chief Financial Officer of Limina headquarters now located in Texas, and a damned good bartender.

I am thankful for a quiet catch up day, Tony and Mike have walked and they played tennis. I believe Tony’s tennis days may be over unless he gets his shoulder taken care of, he was/is suffering at the moment. I paid some bills and did our laundry, all set for the next round of the journey!

We all got in the kitchen to prepare dinner. I like being in the kitchen, miss it actually. We truly enjoyed sitting around the table at Cathy and Mikes with our delicious salmon burgers, crisp salad and amazing peanut butter squares! Coming home with some new recipes.

Euchre ended the night, Tony and Cathy won this round, the cards were certainly in their favour. Tomorrow Mike, Tony and I will meet Cathy after work at their new home, exciting!
