Day 27 - August 9

Today was the last day of the trip and as such, I knew that we would be doing I75/401 from Toledo to home, so I had planned to do some more leisurely riding in the morning.

So, keeping up with the theme of riding "named roads" we started off out of Warsaw on the Lincoln Highway (US30) making our way to the Classic Car Capital of the US, Auburn, IN.

From there, we took IN8 to the border of Ohio, where it becomes OH18, to the town of Defiance, where we (aka Brian) were able to

get our first Tim Horton's fix in almost a month!

From Defiance, we road along CR424 which runs alongside the Maumee River and is a nice relaxing ride, through villages named Independence, Florida and Texas, and eventually to Napoleon HD. After a quick visit there, looking at all the historical stuff they have in the store, we dropped back down to catch 424 again along the Maumee until we caught 475/75 up to Perrysburg and the last US HD dealer for the trip - Signature HD.

I75 just north of the Ohio/Michigan border is not in the best of shapes, but we endured that and after a stop at the duty free shop, we crossed back into Canada, with no issues. Thunder Road HD was our first stop, and the intention was to stop in at Duke's HD in Chatham. However, with the construction on Hwy 40, we weren't able to get there, so off we went to our final poker chip stop - our

local dealer Rocky's HD.

By 4:30 pm, I was pulling LiB into the garage and unloading her!
