DAY 44 3rd OCT
This our first day of two in Yosemite and my first question of the day after a sleep in is, why is it pronounced Yo-sem-it-ee? To me it would be like calling Vegemite Vee-gem-ite. Though like the saying, when in Rome, do as the Romans do, so I let it go. We managed to get to breakfast in time. This place has different rules than most places: you cannot leave any food or trace of food in your car (as it will attract bears and you probably don't have insurance and it is bad for bears to learn) and you cannot prepare any food in your room. So you get food at the food court. Here in the mornings we get a $13 voucher each for breakfast. We set out to look around Yosemite for a bit and drove up to Glacier Point. We stopped and looked at places along the way and the view at Glacier Point was AMAZING, though we spent 10 min max looking at the view, partially due to the selfie-stick brigade. nice dinner had a good night sleep. Well not a great sleep from the light and Dad snoring.
DAY 45 4th OCT
Apologies that this entry is short but not that much happened. I spent the day doing homework, much to my dismay. Not much else happened other than seeing a raccoon on the ceiling in front of the window. We also packed our belongings ready for San Fran and I am excited to see Uncle Michael and Eddie. Sleep was as easy as the other nights which isn't easy though I did make some changes and now there is less light.
