Coeur d'Alene to Cranbrook

DAY 7 27th AUG
Nearly the same as yesterday. We had a continental breakfast at the Motel, and drove to Cranbrook via some interesting scenery. The smoke from the fires in Washington, Idaho and British Columbia are making visability very bad. Its like driving in thick fog that stinks.
We popped into Safeway to get some lunch provisions, and I noticed they had quite a few interesting things like cool-aid,

TONNES of cakes and other items, they even had Subway and McDonald GIFT CARDS!
We arrived at the Motel on their Grand Re-opening after renovations, so there were drinks and nibbles put on in the foyer for guests and the people who had contributed to working on the Motel, an added bonus.
Later, we had some tea in our room, and had another early night.
