DAY 34 23rd SEPT

I had a bit of trouble sleeping last night, I am next to the window in my room which the light shines through quite easily from the bright town, but enough about that. The day was kind of nice, we had a breakfast down stairs at the complimentary breakfast and headed back upstairs, I soon realized that I was in a crabby mood. We made our way to Kapilano bridge, when we arrived we found out about the extremely high prices and left, by not going we saved roughly $160. On the road I realized

that my 3DS games had gone missing, I thought that Michelle had them (as I have lent them to her) so now I am in an even more crabby mood. We then went to a dam nearby. The views from the dam walkway were pretty spectacular but not as much as Lake Louise. We headed back to our apartment later. We didn't do much today after that other than make some phone calls to see if my games have been found and that we had homemade Poutine.

DAY 35 24th SEPT
Today, the weather is horrible and we are going to the zoo! Though we are going over the exit plan and have gone shopping, whilst shopping we bought clothing and Lindt chocolate. When we went to the zoo, it was pretty quiet but it was a pretty good zoo. We saw many animals including ones

not in the Adelaide Zoo. Fun fact: the scientific name for plains bison is Bison Bison Bison. After a good many hours we went home with agonizing feet and 500 more photos on my camera. Sleep was merciful tonight.

DAY 36 25th SEPT
Today, we are going to the Aquarium! There were many interesting things here at the Vancouver Aquarium varying from sea otters to jellies. I saw three of the shows they had on here, the first was of Helen and Chester. Helen is a pacific white-sided dolphin who shares the 'tank' with Chester, a false killer whale. Chester was found in distress and was nursed back to health. He wasn't very old at the time so the team did have their difficulties. Helen was also saved. The next show I watched was on Sea Otters. Sea Otters are much bigger than what Brent Nixon made them out to be. Watching them eat was quite entertaining and just before the show one of the Sea Otters was doing back flips. I didn't see the end of the show because I went to watch the 4D experience they had, this short video was very fun because of the 3D and the special affects like wind, spray and a strike in the back. When I exited the theatre I watched another show about the Arctic Porpoises they had, I learnt that porpoises are very similar to dolphins differing with their nose, dorsal fin and behavior. Between the shows I had a good look around at everything however I apologize for not taking any pictures as it was too dark and all my shots were blurry. They had a MASSIVE variety there including jellies, frogs, sharks, mud-skippers, an electric eel and so much more. At the outdoor salmon pond (which seemingly had no fish) I noticed a raccoon at the water's edge

before it scurried off. The rest of the day was uneventful other than packing as we are leaving Vancouver for Los Angeles tomorrow, we are also going to bed early tonight.

DAY 37 26th SEPT
We are leaving Vancouver today and heading to Los Angeles. We got up at four in the morning and started our last preparations. I got all my items together, downloaded a new app on my tablet and after getting dressed was ready to head off. Very soon everyone else was ready and we made our way down the elevator where we dropped our key cards off. We then drove to the airport where we dropped our rented car off

and took our belongings in. We deposited our luggage and we were inside the main hall shortly after. At 8:45 we caught our flight over to Los Angeles. To entertain myself on this two and a half hour flight I played Mahjong and watched half of the Avengers movie. We arrived and collected our luggage and proceeded to the shuttle bus area where we caught a bus to the Alamo car rental place and rented a Chrysler Town & Country. Driving around town we pulled into AA market (which is a chinese/vietnam like supermarket) where we bought 'supplies'. After loading the car with the groceries we made our way to our apartment at the Dolphin Cove Resort. This place is quite nice and we just about lounged around as we waited for the Catchesides to arrive from their 14 hour flight from Melbourne. Had dinner and had an early night.
