DAY 5 25th AUG
Today we woke up at 5 am and finished packing (we were meant to have finish it the night before, but we had another late night with Uncle Michael), and we left the apartment all spic and span just before 6 am. Mum had looked up about our flight with Alaskan Air, and found out we needed to be checked in 2 hours before the flight left, so we were worried about being late. We had difficulty finding our way back to the car hire
drop off (dad took a wrong turn) and we all started getting up-tight. We were meant to be at the airport to check in no later than 6:50 am, so when we dropped the car off at 6:30 am we were JUST in the nick of time. We mad our way to the airport on the Air Train (like a train on a special track, but with rubber wheels) and checked in. We made it through security with ease and got to the gate, and had about 2 hours to wait - so we had breakfast before the flight left. We bordered about an hour and a half later. After a 1:30 hour flight we landed in Seattle. The main difference between San Francisco and Seattle is there are lots of pine trees in Seattle and there are not as many hills. When we got off the flight we got to the baggage claim area where we claimed Michelle's bag, Mum's bag, Dad's bag... But mine was nowhere to be seen. After a while which was filled with anxiety, we went to the baggage help area and asked them about it. After a while it turned out it fell out a baggage cart and was left sitting in the back area. After great gratitude we left the airport and went to the car hire area via a bus. We ended up renting the same type of car as the one in San Francisco (a Chrysler Town and Country) but it was blue. We started our long drive northwards and along the way we had Taco Bell for lunch (Taco Bell is practically Hungry Jacks or McDonald but with Mexican food). After a somewhat disappointing meal we left and went to our Motel room. Here we stayed for the night.
