Fletchers Holiday Diary

DAY 20 9th SEPT

Today, was pretty much a regular day for a moving day, though I did get a "naughty" breakfast of left over ribs. We headed off from the un-scenic Whistler and headed on our way to Seattle. Along the way we had the nice Gypsy Guide commentary and had amazing view of the ocean. About 150 km from Seattle we stopped and did some minor shopping at Walmart, MY FIRST TIME! I found it like a mini Costco. We bought a corn dog (dag-wood dog for us Aussies), a whole chickens worth of fried

We bought a corn dog (dag-wood dog for us Aussies), a whole chickens worth of fried

chicken and some fried shrimp. We had these for lunch. Later about a few hours from Walmart we arrived in Seattle. On our way into the hotel I met a friend of my Nanna and Poppa's ( my grandparents) called Marilyn with my grandparents. The reason I mention her is because she said how much I look like her nephew, on a couple of occasions she almost called me her nephew. We went for a walk later that night to have a look at a market which I was told I would want to buy a large amount of things, however the market was closed when we arrived. We went to dinner at the Sea View Cafe where we either had burgers or a seafood basket. We soon got back to our apartment where we talked for a while before we each went to bed.
