So far my favorite Tuscan town besides Loro Ciufenna. We had a gorgeous and leisurely day to explore. The views from all around the walled city are amazing! We practically had the place to ourselves. We walk through the gate and come to a wine place that offers a free underground tour along with wine and bruschetta tasting, it was really cool. Up at the top we stopped and had lunch, of course pizza, wine and salad, deliciouso! On the way home we stopped at Lake Montepulciano, which was not what we expected but interesting. It was another wonderful day in Tuscano.
