Started out in a little town called Borough. Picturesque Italian village with miniture animated village scenes. Then on the ancient road to Castiglion Fibocchi. A very old little village where we met these two Italian women who did not speak a word of English, and would talk to us in Italian as if we understood. They took us to their little shop, and then Anna took us to this old chapel and opened it just for us. As we were leaving Jim looked into this house where we then met Franco, again not a word of English. He broke open a jug of homemade wine with at least an inch of dust on it and gave us some. I was afraid he was going to cut into the pancetta hanging on the wall with again an inch of dust and mold. What a wonderful man. On our way home stopped at Moraia vineyards, and wound up spending the rest of the afternoon with Sylvia and Rudy the owners. We also met some people who were staying at our hotel at the vineyard, DoriAnn and David. We spent the afternoon drinking wine, eating bread and cheese, touring the vineyard and her beautiful villa she rents out! BELLISIMO!
