Day 77: Heaven in Brunetti's

Melbourne, 10.27.2019

Had a lazy morning after my first night back with Sam. It felt so good being able to cuddle him in bed, I’d really missed this. Today on Sams agenda was a few things in the city. The weather wasn’t great, really cold, and I knew I’d have to buy some more warm clothes soon! He knew I liked museums having heard that I’d visited a lot of them on my travels. Our first stop was the Science Works. This was so much fun! I particularly enjoyed the mind and body section and getting competitive with Sam on the wheelchair racing. Next we went to Melbourne museum where we also had some lunch in the cafe. In the afternoon, Sam took me to his favourite cafe on Lygon Street called Brunettis. He’d remembered it from when he had been a few years ago. This was a cute traditional Italian cafe with every possible dessert you could think of. Sam suggested we try the chocolate cannolis which we were so good and we also shared a cookies and cream cheesecake which tasted like heaven. It was a cold evening so we decided to have a dominos takeaway, which Sam isn’t really that keen on, so we could chill and watch Love Island at home.
