Day 102: Bye bye Lucie

I packed all my stuff up at Lucie's and then we headed off as she needed to get to work! Before she started, we took the opportunity to have a nice breakfast in Hamilton! I then said farewell to Lucie at her office, something that wasn't too hard given that she was coming back to England over xmas and then I headed off to Hamilton airport on a shuttle bus. This is where my new Kiwi Experience bus driver would pick me up from. I was really looking forward to getting back on the bus and meeting a new set of people. My new bus driver was called Tahni, a lovely Mauri man who is honestly the kindest human being I have ever met! The next stop on the trip was Waitomo which is famous for caving and looking for glow worms. I decided not to do the caving activity as I wanted to save my money for other things however I took the time this afternoon to do some sunbathing! I cooked dinner in the hostel, beans and jacket potato of course and then had a shower and Facetimed Sam. I had to go outside in the cold because the wifi indoors was so bad!
