Day 27: Luang Prabang!

We left Pakbeng nice and early to get back in the slow boat for another 6 hours down to Luang Prabang. On the way we stopped at some caves where people bring buddha statues to pay respect to the Buddha. We arrived in Luang Prabang and we’re taken to the guest house. The weather was really nice so we spent the afternoon sunbathing by the pool. Another 7 people joined the Contiki family here so we had a team meal to welcome them. Went to Utopia bar for the rest of the evening which had really cool vibes, beanbags on the floor that looked over the river
