Day 94: Bye bye Melbourne, hello New Zealand!

Today was my last day with Sam before I headed off to New Zealand, the last country on my travel list! He had work today, however he was able to finish super early which was good so he could take me to the airport. I spent the day washing the last of my dirty clothes and packed up my backpack for my next adventure. Over the past few days Sam and I decided that I should come back to Melbourne on my way home, something I was super excited about, knowing that I would see him again. I therefore took the time today to rearrange my flights, changing my flight home to the UK from the 13th to the 17th, to make my trip back to Melbs worthwhile. After some afternoon sugar sugar, Sam took me to the airport around 4pm. It was a very long journey, and I started to get worried that I would be late for my flight but luckily we still made it in time. I was very nervous about saying goodbye to Sam again however he did his best trying to cheer me up in the car with his crazy dance moves and singing to Queen. After an emotional goodbye, I headed into the airport. I kept trying to remind myself that I would see him in a few weeks but saying another goodbye certainly wasn't any easier. My flight to Auckland was at 7pm. A few hours later, I had landed at a local time of midnight. I quickly grabbed a taxi and headed into the city where I checked into my hotel. I needed to get to sleep quickly as I was getting up early to catch my Kiwi Experience bus!
