Day 91: Romantic getaway

This morning we took Archie for a quick walk and then he joined us for a Four Figs breakfast. We watched an episode of Peaky Blinders, which we were now almost finished with and then in the afternoon we travelled to St Kilda. It was about time I treated Sam to thank him for his very generous hospitality while I had been in Melbourne. I wanted to spent some more quality time with him as we were now on the countdown to my departure so I booked us a room at The Prince Hotel for a night. When we got to St Kilda, we checked in and then headed out for a walk along St Kilda pier. Despite it being another cloudy and chilly day, the view of the city from the pier was still great. We then walked along the beach front and found a little bar with outdoor seating where we had a refreshing Aperol Spritz and watched the world go by. Headed back to the hotel for some afternoon sexy time and then got ready to got out. We had a meal at Republica, a lovely restaurant which had a view of the ocean. I had a seafood pasta dish and Sam chose rainbow trout and of course we had a bottle of moscato! After dinner, we headed to a bar upstairs where we had a cocktail before walking back to the hotel. We stopped at a dessert shop on the way back and ate them in the room while we watched a movie on Netflix. I didn't sleep very well tonight. It was finally sinking in that I would be leaving Sam in two days and it made me so upset thinking about it.
