Day 61: Whitehaven Beach

I had a surprisingly good sleep on the sailing boat however the bright light woke me up around 5:45! Breakfast was served around 7:00am, fruit, yogurt and croissants! We set off fairly quickly on the boat, it was quite chilly this early! We stopped at Whitsunday Island around 9am and headed on a walk which took us to three viewpoints! The island was so beautiful, and the white sands reflecting in the sunshine were incredible! We spent 3 hours chilling on Whitehaven beach, the most incredible beach I had ever seen! Took lots of pictures for the gram and even managed to see a few stingrays in the water! We spent the rest of the day snorkelling and sailing back to Airlee Beach! We arrived back at 4pm after braving it through a rain storm wall which we had seen ahead and prepared for by going inside the boat! The hotel we stayed at tonight was so nice, the Mantra Club Croc hotel. Sinead and I shared a room. We started love island Australia this evening which is so good! In the evening we went to a bar called Beaches were we had food and drinks for 17 dollars, so cheap! Played pool with Blake, Sinead and David and headed back to the hotel around midnight.
