We just left Memphis, now we are heading to St. Louis, Missouri. This will take us 4 hours and 8 minutes. We are going to be driving 284.6 miles. This will be an easy drive compared to some places we went took more than 4 hours. We only made one stop to get some water at the fountains and to get some gas at ampm. We spent $16.64 on gas. We still have extra snacks from the Hamptons in Memphis. So off we go. Here we are! We made it to our hotel that was only 6 minutes away from the Gateway Arch. We got a room at Lumiere Palace Casino which for one night was $74. Since we made it we still have 4 more hours of sun so we walked around St. Louis and took pictures of the city. as time passed we knocked out up in our room. Good Morning, its 10:00 about to go stop by and see the Gateway Arch. What an amazing view this was. This was 630' tall, it was started in February 12, 1963 - October 28, 1965. They celebrate on October 28 the day it was finished and opened to the people of St. Louis. We went inside an elevator to get to the top. Our tickets all together cost $30. after spending time for 3 hours we went back to the the hotel and took a quick nap before we headed back on the road again. Today we spent $120.64, whats left in our account is $2,988.03.
