Last Night was an exhausting day but when it comes to traveling you have to suck it up and keep going. Today Michelle decided that we should take a drive up to New York City. Syndey is the only one from the group that's been there so she'll be our tour guide. Since she knows the way there she'll also be the one driving. It's not that far it's only about 2 hours, that gives Michelle and I ( Camila ) time to get in some rest. While we napped Sydney stopped at a gas station to fill up the take just a tad bit which was only $10 and we also stopped to use the restroom. After 2 long hours for Sydney, not for us we arrived to New York. We checked into the NY Moore Hostel which was only $24. Quickly unpacked our luggage and rushed to catch our reservation on the Ferry to the Statue of Liberty. We paid via online, which was only $18 for each and just needed to show our ticket through our phones. Good thing we didn't have anything in our stomachs because we were seeing people throwing up left and right. The ride was only 15 minutes but I've never seen so many sick people before. When we got off we went to the little gift shop and looked around for a minute then our tour guide asked us to gather around. We learned that It was a gift from France, given to America in 1886. The statue’s full name is Liberty Enlightening the World. She holds a torch and tablet upon which is inscribed the date of American Declaration of Independence. Originally the Statue was a brown color but throughout the time it slowly turned green. Now we're on our way back to our room to get some rest because tomorrow we have a long day ahead of us.
