My diary

Day 3: Today we are leaving Tombstone, AZ to Alamo, San Antonio. We spent $117 dollars on gas. We are staying at a hotel called "Days Inn San Antonio". It was $32 a night, we only stayed one night. We walked from our hotel to the Alamo, and the entrance was free. The Alamo is a special place in history because a battle happened in 1836. Texans and Mexicans fought, and 200 people dead. David Crockett was one of them, sadly nobody survived the battle. The Alamo is a very beautiful place with very deep history stories, ten years after Texas won its independence and shortly after it was annexed by the U.S. soldiers revived the "Remember the Alamo!" battle cry while fighting against Mexican forces in the Mexican-American War. We have $3,669.63 left in our bank account.
