Australian Adventures

I can’t believe it’s been a month since I’ve last written! I was so enthralled with my smutty novel, 50 Shades of Grey, that I completely abandoned any ambitions to write in my journal. Well I’m back, bitches, and there’s sure to be some titillating craziness in these next excerpts.

It’s a Tuesday night, filled with a half moon shining like a spotlight and slightly overcast skies. I’ve been freezing my little tushy off lately in this wind tunnel of a tent. The nights have been filled with ferocious gusts of wind, jolting the walls of the tent against our beds and furniture. One image comes to mind: the Big Bad Wolf trying to blow down the straw house with the three little piggies sleeping inside – Katie, Taylor and I. We awoke the other night to a loud smash as our closet hanger and nightstands crashed to the ground. All the furniture is now two feet in from the walls as a precaution.

I think all this wind and the frigged temperature drop is foreshadowing some tumultuous changes ahead. I’ve been joking with some people at work that after reading my horoscope for this month, I’m quite afraid of what’s to come.

Some issues had definitely been brewing without me noticing, and they all came out with ferocious rage this day. Busy season has now come into effect, which means Paul and Candice aren’t going to take many, if any, days off work until it dies down. This also means that they are going to be overly stressed, overly anxious and, in turn, overly intense. To be continued...
