The Peloponnesian Divorce Tour

After the exertions of Olympia we headed south and picked up the western coast of the Peloponnese. We headed for a small village called Kalo Nero. Although there isn't a campsite, there is an area where allegedly you can park up overnight.

We thought we'd give it a try, although in theory 'wild camping' isn't allowed in Greece the law isn't enforced and as long as you don't set up with awnings, bbq's etc it's unlikely you'll be moved on.

The village was just off the main coast road and pretty quiet. The pictures say it all about the location! Out the door, 30 yards and into the sea. A couple of sites on the beach had been marked where turtles had laid there eggs a couple of weeks before.

There was a taverna overlooking the beach about 100 yards away and the food was excellent.

Decided to stay for two nights.......idyllic!
