We liked Salerno, which is the base for connecting with the Amalfi Coast. It was our first day of rain and the seas were quite rough so the ferries were cancelled. We started tidying up our cabin and thinking about packing after thinking about packing after a month in one place. The weather cleared about 2.30pm and it was hot and muggy. We went for a walk into town searching for three churches in particular, one was closed and we couldn't find one. Salerno is busy and the people are pretty friendly.
