The captain made an announcement just before 7am that Valencia was cancelled and we would have sea day. We were being buffeted by Storm Ciaran and we had not been able to get into port safely. We explored the ship. NCL Prima is a newer ship with more intimate places, rather than large dining venues like HAL. The buffet is chaos, lots of fast/fried food and there are no seats to be had. The 17th floor pool deck is party central with a lot of merry people. We discovered the two dining rooms which catered very well to GF, the bread is the best we have had since we have been away, but you need to get there early. Our sense of this ship is there just isn't enough facilities for the number of people.

I went to a future cruise presentation, a rushed affair, because the hordes were filing in for Deal or No Deal. I stayed on to watch - you pay €10 per card to win a maximum of €1,000. No Deal methinks. Then the Bingo crowd poured in. Apparently these activities are the highlight of a sea day.
