Flinders Rangers
The heart of the Flinders Rangers, we spent 5 nights at Wilpena Pound, enjoying the bush, the outback, the capfires and wildlife. We had kangaroos coming through our site, one even with a little joey in its pouch.
Food, yes, the camp oven got a good work out, lots of scones with local made jam - mmm!
One of the highlights was a one day 4wd journey at Willow Springs called SkyTrek. On this trek we needed all the 4wd capability of the Ford Ranger, including hill descent assist.
