Lost in Venice

I had big expectations for Venice and I have to say I was a little disappointed! Instead I feel in love with the colourful and lively Burano.

Once we got set up at our chosen campsite in Venice (camping rialto) we jumped on a bus and straight into the city. Map in hand, and with a walking route for the evening planned out, we then proceeded to get completely lost.

The following day we took a second attempt at venice and purchased a

vaporetto. This allowed us 24 hour use of all the taxi boats. It was fantastic and we used it to the full extent.

The following morning we went back to Venice for a third visit, in morning, in the day and in the evening. But still my opinion was not changed with Burano being miles ahead in my mind.
