We drove through snow and rain to arrive to sunshine in Lake Garda - so it would have been hard not to immediately love the place!

The best day of the trip so far was spent at the top of the lake, Riva del Garda. We started the day with the best breaky of the road trip so far, as we had splurged on a hotel for the night that also provided a buffet breakfast with cold meats, cereals, fruits, hot drinks and juice.

After getting our moneys worth from the breakfast buffet we drove to Cascata Valone, a bautiful waterfall inside a cave. Then we walked around the stunning Lago di Tenno and ate our left over pizza from the night before with a beautiful view. In the afternoon, we drove to Arco and climbed through an olive grove to investigate Arco castello.
