Stonehenge day! We grab a Mozzarella/Tomato wrap and coffee at Pret then head to the bus station. We load into a big, comfortable bus with other tourists (a few from Dallas). It's a 2 hour ride, the sun is out and the bus is warm, which is good because when we arrive we step out to bitter cold wind. Walking up to a sight you've seen in pictures so many times it's hard to believe it actually exists in reality. It was both intricate and simple, smaller than I expected yet deeply moving. It was amazing to know that at one point over 5,000 years ago incredible time and effort was put into creating the exact structure I was looking at. We arrive back to London around sunset, it's our last night so naturally we go to a pub! Bayswater Arms for delicious meat pie, bratwurst and beer. Pack our bags then sleep.
