Our hotel room is weird. It's weird because it can only be described as a basement next to a broom closet. There is no window to the outside, just a window to an interior hallway. The walls are paper thin and we hear the cleaning crew at all hours. After all of this we are thankful to have a comfy bed with an en suite bathroom. Day two gets started around 1:00 pm. We head to Neal's Yard, an eclectic mix of dining and shops but the line the the pizza place was too long so we head to a nearby pub. It's cold, so cold that the jacket I brought for Switzerland will end up being used throughout the whole trip. After lunch and warming up at the pub we head to the Tate Modern. We spend hours taking in the art and pretending to "get it". At dusk we walk over the Millennium Bridge to St.

We spend hours taking in the art and pretending to "get it". At dusk we walk over the Millennium Bridge to St.
Paul's Cathedral. Our original plan was to watch the sunset from the Shard building but due to timing the plan fell through (something that you will see happens quite often, the key... stay flexible!). We go straight to our last plan for the day, trivia night at Priory Arms. I had researched this trivia night and apparently it was not to be missed. We arrive at the pub and it's dead. Turns out, pub night was cancelled but it's coming back NEXT week! That's ok, we're flexible! So we order terribly wonderful pub food, listen to really great songs on the jukebox and play Connect Four all night until we finally head home for much wanted sleep.
