When I arrived here yesterday I downloaded the dating app Tinder, but OBS not for dating because I’m in love with someone else (wonder who it could be..), and I’ve made that very clear in my presentation. I’ve started writing with a person who went to Miami Ad School Account Planning program two years ago, the same that I will join on Monday. I will also meet him later in the school since he will educate about creating a portfolio. He gave me some hints about where everyone hang out - St. Pauli, and some great restaurants there.
I took his advice and jumped on the U-bahn to St. Pauli (the german counterpart to Södermalm, but more rough). I came up to a really cozy street market/festival with food trucks and live musik, but I wanted to see some more places before I decided where to eat. The Tinder-guy had earlier told me a street where I could find good burritos, so I write in the street Feldstrasse in Google Maps and took a walk for about 20

The Tinder-guy had earlier told me a street where I could find good burritos, so I write in the street Feldstrasse in Google Maps and took a walk for about 20
minutes. But before I arrived there I found another really cool place with a lot of young people (people in my age..) and live music. I decided to stay there, ordered a vegan burger and sat on the grandstand and chilled for about half an hour before I took the train home. I was so tired that my feet hurt. Took a shower. Falled asleep.
Thursday June 30th
I woke up around 10 a.m. but stayed in the room until 12 a.m. Checked my e-mail, e-mailed the school about the apartment keys I will pick up tomorrow (yes!) and looked at some tourist guides. Today I’ve been in an area called Sternschanze, my favorite place so far. A lot of small shops with vintage furniture, accessories, street art and vegan food. There’s so much good vegan food here, it’s fab! Okay, I’m not a vegan, but it feels good not to be bad.
After that I took the train to Altona, a place I’ve read about. Here you can find great places to have a pick nick and a lot of beach bars, but I just ended up at IKEA… So right now I’m at the IKEA restaurant and steals their Wi-Fi and save my phone battery a little. It's drizzle from time to time, so I don't think a pick nick is a good idea for today.
